Game Thread Navy 27, at tOSU 31 (Sep 5th, ESPN)

It's a good gut check time. ESPECIALLY we have so many young players, sometimes they prone to over-estimate themselves, they need to go back to the dwging board and get serious and set the tone for the rest of the season. I think it is a good thing.

besides, coaches now can REALLY evaluate the starters.

GO BUCKS!!!!

Wow.

Just wow.

Any number of things to discuss about this game.

I'm just trying to figure out a way to share my thoughts on the game without bashing players or coaches.

Just a completely underwhelming performance in every facet of the game.

EDIT Man, it's going to be a long week if Buckeye fans listen to any previews of the USC game. They are already getting killed.

To be honest Im not surprised the game went the way it did. The pick from Pryor and the 4th down conversion failure was unfortunate but, when you have three new starters at LBer and an option team...this was to be expected to an extent.

However, the blown coverage from Russ playing the inside when you have help over top (on the 1st td) and the 2nd letting your man getting behind you w/ no help is inexcusable. Id really like to see Hines get the start alongside of Coleman vs SC.
