The left side is the problem and it's because they aren't picking up on the zone blitzes. Shugarts and Miller are doubling down on the end while two blitzers are coming on the edge...with one back to block both of them. They need to keep their eyes up and see who's coming off the edge. However, that was a pretty positive half and pretty much what I expected. What I liked:
- Boren is as billed...absolutely dominant
- Pryor is finding his open receivers and make his reads
- Saine looks to be healthy
- The defensive line looks strong and deep
- Rolle is making plays
- We ARE using the TE...Ballard appeared to be the first check both of his catches and he looks good
- We are adjusting to the triple well
