Name 50 QB's better than Ken Dorsey

Disagree - he was a good college QB on a GREAT team. He was, however, a great LEADER.

Ryan Leaf?

Heath Shuler?

Ken Dorsey at least has hung around in the NFL for the better part of a decade.

Oh no I was just joking about him being the best QB ever. I think Kosar is still the best QB to play for the Canes, but based on college production I would have Dorsey in like the Top 20.

Fraizer, Young, Staubach, and Leinart are the guys I would consider for the best QB ever. I know people disagree with some of those guys, but f*** em

Also when it comes to Dorsey in the pros. I NEVER saw a kid play as bad as when I saw Dorsey play the Giants last preseason. When he first got into the league I thought he was a decent backup, but the last 2 seasons have made my mouth drop. In preseason games I have seen him look like me playing out there.

I do think we will see him turn into a coach one day though. Maybe he'll help Miami coach a good QB.

He's still nowhere near as bad as Shuler or Leaf or even Spurrier as a pro.. I'm telling ya.....

No doubt, it takes a special player to lead your team to the 2-yd. line on a potential game-winning drive while going 0-12 passing. You gotta hold a lot more clipboards than those other guys did to get a chance to do that in a preseason game.

My post was partially in jest (ttown is from Toledo, and so am I).

Winning is very important for a QB, but it's not the only criterion that matters. And being surrounded by talent makes it a helluva lot easier to win.

Glancing at the list of 75 posted earlier, I'd probably put Dorsey somewhere around #25, but I just don't care enough to rank everybody subjectively.
Elitist pr ick not caring and all that sh it. :paranoid:
See the types of threads we start at the end of the off season. :pissed::hatepc:

My point being is that he keeps getting paid to do the exact same thing while those other guys are either wanted by the law OR a not-well-thought-of congresscritter from North Carolina

He's on the list too, it's just that I don't know if NextBuck has heard of him

Both bad, but at least Marinovich threw the same amount of TD's in 2 seasons that Dorsey hasnt been able to throw in 4 seasons. Dorsey has been cut in the past and missed seasons because no one else wanted him. Also Marinovich had drug issues, so while he was overrated I think he was a better pro QB than Dorsey.

The man had a 26.4 QB rating last years!!!!
