This thread performs fellatio on deceased amphibians.

Ken Dorsey won 34 straight games as a starting major college QB. I can only name 1 player with a better streak:

Chuck Ealey, with 35 from '69-'71 at Toledo.

I'm assuming you're basing this on college productivity (based on pro ball, there are a lot more than 50):

I've listed 75, because I know that everyone will kick out some of the people on this list. However, I think most people, looking at this list, will find at least close to 50 names by their own rankings.

How many QBs can you name that had a better string of RBs to hand the ball to than Edgerrin James, Clinton Portis & Willis McGahee?

My post about Browns QBs was in jest. The wins stat was impressive, but that's not the end of the discussion. I think there were plenty of QBs in the history of college football who lost a game here or there who were better. However I think he belongs in the discussion with many of the guys one would name in a Top 50 or Top 75.

Disagree - he was a good college QB on a GREAT team. He was, however, a great LEADER.

Ryan Leaf?

Heath Shuler?

Ken Dorsey at least has hung around in the NFL for the better part of a decade.

Definitely..There are a lot of talented teams, that just can't get it together. Dorsey was a great teammate and leader. He held the team together nicely.

My post was partially in jest (ttown is from Toledo, and so am I).

Winning is very important for a QB, but it's not the only criterion that matters. And being surrounded by talent makes it a helluva lot easier to win.

Glancing at the list of 75 posted earlier, I'd probably put Dorsey somewhere around #25, but I just don't care enough to rank everybody subjectively.
