In the NFL, this game was over. This is a case where the NFL rule is better. Carolina got bailed out by their own malfeasance.

That may be, but fuck Tennessee. In a way it makes up for that obvious miss on the late hit a couple plays earlier. Tennessee deserved to give up that FG - for as hilariously bad as UNC's game management and the refs' control over the game were, let's not lose site of how Tennessee was choking the game away on defense on that final drive.
