When I was doing my Masters at UK, they'd play the song at halftime.

Pretty much just instrumentation until a drunken roar would raise from the crowd:

duh duh duh Weep no more, my ladies... Weep no more today

After that the singing stopped and the drinking resumed.

As an aside- while I was there the Student Government published the "Planner/Calendar" with all of the school dates (registration, athletic events, etc.) as they do every year. They also put "My Old Kentucky Home" on the back cover, so new students could learn the lyrics.

Problem was, no one proofed it very well and they printed all of them with the original lyrics-

The sun shines bright in the old Kentucky home,
'Tis summer, the darkies are gay;

It went over pretty much as you'd imagine.
