I used to eat sunflower seeds, in the shell, salted, every day. I ate them while reading, while watching tv, while on my computer, at work, in the car...constantly. I got started on them in the Army and didn't stop eating them for a full 10 years.

Then I finally got a chance to get a lot of work done at a dentist, who asked me if I ground my teeth at night. I had an enormous amount of damage to the surfaces of my teeth that was exactly like what would occur if I did grind my teeth.

I quit eating sunflower seeds every day, all day, a week later. I still love them tho. I don't like any of the "flavored" ones you can find now, and I don't like the David brand anymore. I eat the ones you can buy at a Circle K for 99 cents, in the teal colored bag. But now I only eat them once in awhile........:biggrin:
