For those with an iPhone, I made a FREE app that will background stream 97.1 The Fan, call them or email the show if you desire. Also has an archive of their popular shows and a news feed for columbus sports news. I called it Columbus Fan Radio because I didn't want WBNS to be butts about the naming.

Well, the obvious question, is mute on or off?

Second, is 971 playing a MLB game or football? They turn that stuff off from their stream. Wish they would put something else in it's place.

What version of iOS are you on?

4.0.2 and an iPod touch......and that's a good question that I didn't think about. for some reason I "upgraded" to 4 which destroyed my (and everybody else's) nike+ and espnradio apps, and zaps the battery life almost in half. note to anybody who hasn't downloaded the new OS: DON'T.

I'll have to wait till I'm home to check it again bc I can't use the wireless signal here at work.
