A Penn State win puts them in the Rose Bowl.

If tOSU has defeated TSUN earlier in the day, an MSU win puts tOSU in the Rose Bowl.

I don't see Sparty pulling this off, but I'll be rooting for them. The thought of Penn State ending up 3rd in the Big Ten, after having an inside track to the NC game, is just too funny.

I agree, but then again, few saw Iowa pulling that one off either...

Weren't we in the exact same position back in '05? Needing a win over scUM and Sparty to upset State Penn for the outright Big-10 title?

As poorly as PSU has played these past two weeks, it's going to be tough for MSU to pull this one out. Seeing how PSU stopped our running attack, I wonder if Hoyer has what it takes to carry the offense all by himself. As far as MSU's defense is concerned, it's not that great. I see PSU by 10.

He's been playing good football recently. Will his WRs (not named White) actually catch the ball?

Neither is Clark. His mediocre play continued for a 3rd straight game vs Indiana. Royster will carry them to victory before Clark, imo.

That's the rub. Ringer appears to be running out of gas...his ypc has been very mediocre since he played tOSU, though he did make some big plays in the 2nd half vs.scUM. Guess that's the hazard of averaging 30+ carries a game.

Hoyer has been more on target, but they need Ringer to keep drives going. With the B10 on the line, PSU is definitely going to have a big time home field advantage. This would be the first time that Paterno leads PSU to the Rowl Bowl after joining the B10.

Yeah they would definitely like to have Caudrick for one more season.

Actually, it would be the second time. PSU joined the Big Ten in 1993 and their undefeated team in 1994 (with QB Kerry Collins) beat Oregon 38-20 in the '95 Rose, finishing #2 to Nebraska in the polls.

Bye weeks are a beautiful thing

This line is way too big. MSU isn't that bad....and PSU isn't that good. Fuck them and Fuck Michigan.
