I am geeked about this. I was such a huge fan of Voltron when I was a kid. They better make this movie as good as they did The Transformers movie.

We?ve already seen ?Transformers? rise to the top of the box office charts this year, now it?s time for Voltron to morph into the movie world.
?Voltron: Defender of the Universe? is currently being made into a feature action film by New Regency, who is also working with the Mark Gordon Co..
You can almost guarantee that this ?80s cartoon will be a sure hit once it opens on the big screen. No fixed release date has been set yet, but look for it in 2008 according to IMDB.

Voltron and Thundercats would rock....

He-Man would end up being stupid I'm afraid unless you like Brad Pitt being He-Man.....

It is reported that they are going to make a new He-Man movie that will be out in 2009.

May 23, 2007 - As first reported last week, producer Joel Silver and Warner Bros. are indeed teaming for a new big-screen version of the cartoon/toy/comic book franchise He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The producer and the studio previously collaborated on the Matrix and Lethal Weapon franchises, as well as on V for Vendetta and The Reaping.

KICK ASS!!!!

Plus this has some great potential with the human element of the story involved. You can get some hot actress to be the Princess. The villans are classic and if they make them more human like you can get some named actors for those roles.

I am sooooo geeked now!

Now everyone said some great other cartoons in Thundercats and a remake of He-Man. But how bout a live action GI Joe movie?
