I know it's possible, but I've been trying to figure it out? Have there ever been any 9-7, 12-7, 12-10, 15-14, etc types of games where a team never scores a touchdown, the other team scores at least one, but the team that never scored a touchdown ends up winning with field goals anyway?

Yikes I hadn't watched Purdue since we beat them, and their season has really taken a turn for the worse.
When you give up 48 points to a MAC team and win.. well, you don't have much to be proud of, especially if your playing in a bowl game in Detroit.

A little background information: I was only a lukewarm football fan until 2005. That was the year I started watching football games on a regular basis. So that's why I might ask some "first grader" football history questions.
(and I believe 74 was the Mike Lantry missed field goal that lead to a tie, though that may have been 73)
