Michael Vick - im not sayin that he's not good, but hes no where near as good as people think he is. Hes fast as hell and can run, but his passing is pretty bad and he still hasnt won anything, college or nfl.

Most Overpayed - Vick (but his teams percentage with him compared to without him makes him not the most overrated to me)

Ray Lewis???? He is by far the most overrated and overhyped player in the history of pro football. Lewis isn't even the best defensive player on his team. Ever listen to the ESPN or CBS crews. They slobber all over him. FSN had him as the 3rd greatest LB of all time, ahead of Nitchke, Ham, Lambert, Singeltary, etc. I have never seen a player pile on like he does and get credit for tackle. Heck, Ed Hartwell was complaining last season about Lewis getting credit for tackles that he should have gotten credit for. Lewis was once great but he has a lost a step big time. He doesn't have the speed anymore or the d-line up front. I can remember the Chiefs-Ravens Monday night game last year when Lewis was miced up and saying he was doubled teamed, though he wasn't. There was a couple of replays were one man blocked him and even Madden brought it up. I watched the Ravens-Eagles preseason game where Lewis got juked several times by Westbrook and the commentators never said a word about it. I guess ABC is doing a special on his fucking stupid pre-game girations. For whatever reason people are so far up his ass it is unbelievable. The funny thing is Zach Thomas and Donnie Edwards entered the league the same year Lewis did. They have very similar stats to Lewis and you don't hear much from them.

Tom Brady? I know we don't give a collective damn for the whole state of Michigan, but isn't putting him in your poll a bit of overreach? Let's be honest here, the guy has somehow guided his team to three championships. He may not be the best QB in the biz, but he gets the job done...not unlike Krenzel on the NC team.
Peter Warrick would come to my Cincinnati based mind as deserving of an overrated, over drafted NFL "star"... but based on what I saw of him in college, I'd have had to have drafted him.

i disagree. the falcons have had a disappointing recieving core and vick has never had great recievers around him. did you watch how he did in the pro bowl with actual recievers? i believe at one point and time he was 9/9 before halftime and destroying them with the pass. they picked up some recievers so it should be interesting. im not even a falcons fan but i can actually see vicks ability as opposed to a vince young which just sucks at passing.ScarletBlood31 said:

I have to say Shockey is the most overrated. All he has done is run his mouth. He ain't worth a damn.
Now to the people that say Vick is overrated you have got to be kidding me.
Where to begin. Ok lets start with his rookie year He took a sorry team in the Falcons to the playoffs with absolutely no recievers.
2nd year he gets hurt and his team sucks.
3rd year he gets his team to a first round bye in the playoffs and takes them to the NFC championship game.
Now he has recievers around him and he will be better suited in the west coast offense.
For those that say he hasnt won anything, well he has been pretty damn close.
He was 15 minutes away from a NC with Va Tech. Where were they b4 him. He took them to being a higher level.
He beat Bret Farve everybodys favorite qb in his own house under freezing temperatures. Can anyone remember what Farve's record was. Like 34-0 or some shit like that.
He was one game from the superbowl last year.
I don't care if you think he can't throw and all that bull shit he is still a young qb that is learning all that, but dammit all he does is win football games and if that makes people think he is overrated well then they don't know what it means.
