Most obscure CDs you own

Any and all Michael Hedges albums. The most genius, though widely unknown guitarist of all time. I'd take Hedges on an acoustic any day over Satriani, Vai, or Johnson, but sadly Hedges passed away a few years ago in an auto accident and much of his catalog is getting very hard to find. Saw him a number of times at the Newport Music Hall and was absolutely amazed every single time.
I have them all too! The guy is so unique! It is a crime that he is not a music icon! My faveorite piece of his is Aerial Boundaries. Nowadays, if you listen to finger-style guitarists, you see how many of them were influenced by his style(s). BTW, I read where he says he really looked up to Steven Stills and developed many of his techniques from things he heard Stills do.
There is a guy here in the Kettering/Dayton area named Eric Loy that plays in similar style and ability.

If I can count LPs, which I have many more of than CDs:
Bo Hannson - Music inspired by The Lord of the Rings
Anthony Phillips - most of his albums (A Phillips was the orig. guitarist of Genesis)
Renaissance - about 4 of their albums
A whole bunch of stuff that is so obscure I can't even remember it!

King's X - Dogman.
Wade - Say What I Want(I think that's the title). Band out of Pittsburgh
Darlahood - Darlahood. Opened for collective Soul in Fort Wayne about 8 years ago. Liked the CD, but never heard anything from them again.

King's X - Dogman.
King's X is (was) awesome. I saw them at the Newport at OSU.

A few others I forgot to mention:
John McLaughlin and the Mahavishnu Orchestra- Adventures in Radioland - very cool jazz/fusion
Babble- Ether - former Thompson Twins members, trippy electronica
Bile- Technowhore - SUPER-heavy industrial
Artificial Joy Club- Melt - alternative rock
Soak- Soak - Hard rock/electronic-ish

detachable penis, right?
No. Detachable Penis was by King Missile. King's X was a Christian Rock band that didn't suck like Creed.

Their biggest albums were the two released at the end of the 80's, Gretchen Goes to Nebraska and Faith, Hope, Love. The song It's Love, from FHL was a huge hit for them at the time.

Well, if you get technical, Dogman was kind of their 'detachment' from the 'Christian band' label in a lot of people's opinions. I've smoked Marijuana with Dougie Pinnick, heh.
