Most Exciting Finish in The Game

I'm only going with relatively recent history here - 2001 and forward. I know that there were some great finishes in the 1970's, but those were before the time of many BP'ers. However, feel free to discuss those in the thread.

05 gets my vote but 2001 still holds a special place in my heart because it was the moment that ushered in a 'New Era' of Ohio State ownership of that mistake up north.

AP - likely the most underrated Ohio State back. He was sandwiched between great runningbacks and was overlooked by many, many teams. I akin him to Todd Boeckman.

Im going with 05. Watching Smith carve up _ichigan in the final drive was masterful. Was his spark on the national presence.

The Gonzo catch at the 5 after the Smith scramble is still my favorite play from the series. That game was two tough teams playing tough football, as much as I liked the win today, I'd take the tough win over the sloppy win.

I know we won it all. But the fact that we beat _ichigan when it counted for the big one (1993,1996,1997), that's when the next baby step was taken for us to be on a national level again. And that seems to be what you are getting at as well. (weird smiley &^*&)

Plus in that 05 drive tOSU was down and needed the score, and the play Troy and Gozo made, followed by the AP score. Tough question because 02 & 06 were great finishes as well.

My wife said this is the kind of game she enjoys the most. I'm torn, personally. I can see her point, though. Hell of a game.
