You have obviously never worked at a TV station. I spent time answering phones and floor directing at WBNS and WLW and you would not believe the number of whackos who call into to a station to make incredible charges, "All My Children is live and real." "You're (WLW) controlling the Republican convention." and I'm just touching the surface. After three years of that I was afraid to walk the streets alone 'cause there are some seriously crazy folks out there and they're not taking their meds.

No trust Me, I know. I have had the same intereactions with some of these same people in different areas of my life. When I was interning at the statehouse when I was in college had a lady call and tell Me that Dave Kaylor was controling her thoughts, and we needed to stop him. I'm just saying that those people need serious help :)

we have a woman who calls here every couple of weeks and wants to talk to Diane Sawyer... we have to tell her that she's in New York and doesn't work here in Florida. We also have a guy who calls and wants us to do stories about him... he doesn't do anything but just wants to be on TV... last time he called he told my producer that he wanted to fight him.... :lol:

Former 'American Idol' Finalist Jessica Sierra Arrested on Drug, Assault Charges

A former "American Idol" contestant was arrested Sunday on drug and assault charges after an incident at a Tampa cafe.

Jessica Sierra, who was a finalist in the fourth season of the TV show, was arrested by Tampa police at 2:15 a.m. for allegedly hitting a man on the head with a heavy glass.

Sierra, 21, faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She was also charged with the introduction of contraband into a detention facility and possession of cocaine after officers found a small amount of the drug while searching her, police spokeswoman Andrea Davis said.

She was being held at a Tampa area jail on $11,500 bond and was to face arraignment Monday.
