Ohio State football offers 5-star basketball prospect Jalen Suggs to play QB
Jalen Suggs is one of the top basketball prospects in the Class of 2020, and Ohio State is looking to land the 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard from Minneapolis. However, Ohio State doesn’t want him for basketball.
Although ESPN ranks Suggs as a 5-star basketball recruit and the No. 4 overall player in his class, he is also a talented quarterback. Ohio State extended a scholarship offer to Suggs to play quarterback, and the student at Minnehaha Academy Upper School in Minneapolis, Minn., shared the news on Twitter.
While most of Suggs’ scholarship offers are for basketball, he has received offers for football from a few schools, including Nebraska, Iowa State, Minnesota and Arizona State.
Among the schools Suggs has received basketball offers from are Marquette, Minnesota, Iowa State, Iowa, Baylor and Georgia Tech.

Just sayin':
1. The average NBA salary vs NFL salary
2. Odds of making it as a NBA point guard vs NFL QB
3. Average career in NBA vs NFL
4. Fall back plan...European basketball salaries vs CFL or Arena Football salaries
You don't see many 2 sport (i.e. basketball and football) players in college any more. I'm thinking he'll stick to playing basketball in college.
