That was just fucking cool.
Raleigh comes up and it's quiet as a whisper for each pitch and Cal smokes a bender to right that rattles to the corner a d the big dumper barrels into second.
JRod comes up and the entire crowd is chanting in unison- Ju-li-O! Ju-li-O! All the way up until he smashed a double to left scoring Cal. Retaking the lead from Detroit 3-2.
I had to rewind and watch it again. I hope the Mariners and Canzone win it all.

Man having your catcher, batting Top 3 and leading the league in Homers is fucking priceless! There are so few big hitting backstops these days. It means they can just about match every other position with "similar" guy because they're everywhere. Shoheis and Judges excluded

Raleigh had a 7.3 WAR this year. Certainly All-Star worthy, but not special by any measure. Overall 5th this season in a really down year.
