So right now, Elly De La Cruz has equaled Corbin Carroll's 2022 season stats. Carroll just qualified due to fewer at bats as a rookie for this season but he actually played in 32 games last year and Elly has now played in 29 with more at bats, 122-104 and the numbers are eerily freaking similar, except for SB, Runs and BA.

Putting EDLC up against Carrolls' 2023 season is going to end up being a mismatch, I think, but if you just extrapolate things it is going to look pretty close. If things are equal in improvements from year to year, the league better watch tf out for Elly next season!

I don’t think we’re going to have to wait that long. He gets exponentially better game by game.
