I'm rooting for the NL in the WS. Which feels weird since the Phillies were the Pirates biggest rivals when I was a kid, but MLB killed that with realignment. These days, the Bucs play the Phillies as often as they play the Tigers, a pretend rival as opposed to a (once) real one. Fuck off.

Fuck the Yankees and the trash can cheating Astros, but fuck the Yankees with a little less lube. Either way, go National League (this season, anyway).

TV Mogol paces in the boardroom; starts board meeting with a stream-of-consciousness rant: "Can we have a World Series without the Dodgers, Yankees, or Mets? What will be left to cover? Maybe put Aaron Judge in the booth as a color man. WTAF is Houston? Is it near Dallas? Maybe we could get Matthew McConaughey to call the game, or at least be there. Fucking Bosox better get busy, or we won't have anything to sell on weekends next summer. Maybe just do the whole thing in Spanish 'cause that's our audience."
