Just popped in to say "Fuck the Yankees". It's hard to make me want to root for the Houston Assholes, but by God they did it!

I'm rooting for the NL in the WS. Which feels weird since the Phillies were the Pirates biggest rivals when I was a kid, but MLB killed that with realignment. These days, the Bucs play the Phillies as often as they play the Tigers, a pretend rival as opposed to a (once) real one. Fuck off.

Fuck the Yankees and the trash can cheating Astros, but fuck the Yankees with a little less lube. Either way, go National League (this season, anyway).

Phillies were the 6th seed in the NL and rolled to the WS. Astros trying to sweep the Yankees and join them.

Last time a team pissed away a 5-0 lead in a WS game it cost Barry Bonds his chance at a WS title. Giants led 5-0 in the 7th, blew it, and lost game 7 the next day.

The stakes aren't quite as high in game one tonight, but it'd still be a gut punch to the Astros.
