Rays v Dodgers in the World Series. Interesting contrast between a young, low-budget team and a high payroll team of stars. I am definitely pulling for the Rays.

Scary part is, the Dodgers core is very young. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Rays win but sometimes you just have to enjoy seeing greatness and this Dodger team is ridiculously good.

I’ll be enjoying this series no matter what

I’m going back to watching Gibson’s pinch hit HR in’88.

that was the most fun/intense/emotional WS game I can recall since (that wasn’t an elimination game).

wow. God I love baseball.

except the fucking Reds. Fucking losers.

Yeah the Gibson homerun was classic, but I don't remember the details of the entire game. Last night was back and forth for 9 innings, awesome game to watch.

It wasn't back and forth like last night. Hell, I don't think any WS game ever has been. Pretty sure I saw/heard they set a record for scoring in consecutive half innings last night.

The Gibson HR game was, first of all, a game 1. It was also a more traditional game in that the Dodgers trailed up until they didn't (2 outs bottom 9 walk off).

Last night was the craziest back and forth of momentum and plays I can recall in watching a World Series.
