Seriously, Smith has looked great at times, horrible at others. I just don't think you get accolades as a truly elite QB when your team is busy losing to Troy and Kansas. He has some games where he looks unstoppable, and some where he disappears...hard to figure.

Not hard for me to figure out. Pinkel sucks. Brad Smith was just as good his very first game as he is now. No progression = poor coaching
