Two years ago, Mizzou gave Kansas their first loss while heading to #1 after the win.

A lot can change in two years.

are you really arguing otherwise when it comes to most of this league?

When high flying offenses from ou and Texas run into good defenses out of conference, their production comes to a screeching halt.

All three Texas-OSU matchups, countless ou bowl games. Heck even Mizzou-northwestern was a big ten style game.

The big ten might not fare well in bcs level matchups... But they usually force their other bowl opponents to play their style of football.

The unis of Missouri are supposed to be a tribute to the Stealth Bomber fleet that is located in Missouri. I do like them. Glad MU(I go to school there and still not #1 in my book) got the W.

Yeah, it nailed me. If Kansas had been sharp, they would have let the guy score on the play with about 1 minute left, when Mizzou broke a long play and got inside the 10-yard line. Kansas would have had almost a minute to tie/win the game (depanding on Mizzou's 2-pointer), similar to what Weis did last night, if they just let him score on that play. But a defensive player in the middle of a play isn't going to think like that.

Mizzou played it smart, even if Kansas was going to let the guy score on the next play. They took a couple of knees in the middle of the field, and let the game ride on a chip shot by their 96% FG kicker.
