When people make the bad defense argument I always think about OSU/Mich in 2006. Supposed to be the 2 best defenses in the country and there were 81 points scored.
are you really arguing otherwise when it comes to most of this league?JXC;1607515; said:When people make the bad defense argument

I made no argument...I just said it made me think about that game. Geez...get of my back.are you really arguing otherwise when it comes to most of this league?
When high flying offenses from ou and Texas run into good defenses out of conference, their production comes to a screeching halt.
All three Texas-OSU matchups, countless ou bowl games. Heck even Mizzou-northwestern was a big ten style game.
The big ten might not fare well in bcs level matchups... But they usually force their other bowl opponents to play their style of football.
So the exception proves the rule?
Case in point, that run by Washington![]()
