Mizzou -2.5 vs Iowa (ov/un 46.5) 12-28 10 ET, Insight Bowl

Love that hit. Muck Fizzou and I go to the damn school.

One has to wonder how much longer Pinkel will be around at Mizzou if they lose to Iowa, especially a Iowa team that is missing quite a few players. He's done a lot to turn the football program around but he his teams don't perform well in big games. Ignore the Oklahoma game from this year, that was a "perfect storm."

Too true. They'll always be a ways behind Texas and OU. Although IMO pinkel does a good job of recruiting in Texas.

I agree, but does anyone else think they might benefit from Nebby and Colorado leaving the Big XII? I could see them making moves in the next decade.

If they have to play both Texas and Oklahoma each year they are going to have a tougher road. Plus they don't get to play in a Championship game again as well. But I don't know if that hurts or helps there chances.

It's probably been awhile since mizzou played Texas and ou in the same year, if ever. Recently it's been ou for 2 years, then Texas and back and forth. But they may have to start playing both since it's now a 10 team league

That was PI.

I had a class with Carlton Gettis (DB #19) and Wes Kemp (WR #8), both missed way more than the allowed number of classes a semester. Gettis showed up to class one day after not being there for about a month and the teacher asked who he was and then where the hell he had been.

I don't think it's really PI - the defender is entitled to his established position. Chekwa does that same thing and gets flagged for it every single time though. :(

It was hard to figure out who I want to root for. I'll always root for mizzou and hope they continue to improve, but I get so damn sick of hearing how every big ten team sucks so naturally I want the big ten to go undefeated in bowls this year
