Maclin being carted to the locker room with what looks to be a pretty rough Ankle Injury.

Towel covering his face so thats never good.

Just mentioned how we've had a few bad looking injuries with stars today now with Wells and Maclin

I don't care how much this new field turf is supposedly better than the old concrete stuff. It still jumps up and bites so many. That Maclin injury looked just like Beanie's.

Landing on cushion instead of thinly-covered cement?!

Note: I'm not watching this game, so I'm going off of the typical stuff, like OSU's.

The types of turf (between this dome and what is in Ohio Stadium) are different.

And I don't think the injury looked the same....Maclin looked like an actual joint injury, Beanie's looked like a cramp or an achillies injury first.....

It's not the landing that has ever been the problem J. It's the pushing, planting, and cutting injuries that you just don't see happen on grass fields.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

After some of the stuff they pulled out of their asses last year... THAT'S KARMA. I know that seals up a crappy night for the Big Ten, but that was nice to watch and pretty much locked up Mizzou covering the spread.

uh, Bob Davie just stating that Missou is the best offense, and the best team, that Illinois will face this year.

Maybe I should hire the Dukies to do a study. :wink2: I've never seen injuries like Maclin's or Beanie's or these turf toe injuries happen on grass. I did not see Moreno's. I'm sure there are exceptions to the rule.

There's a reason Bob Davie is in the booth and not on the sideline....part of it is he is a horrible talent evaluator, the other part is the guy is blind as a bat to what is going on during play on the field....
