Missouri 102, Memphis 91 (Final)

but like Ohio State, the lack of a true PG was the difference tonight. Memphis had a hell of a time breaking Mizzou's press without a true ballhandler.

I think Evans is a true PG, there is just no one around him that can do much. Not being able to hit jump shots and FT's really hurts the team too.

he broke it open in the second half, but Mizzou owned Memphis with the trap in the first half. There is a reason Callipari played Evans at the 2 for a majority of the year.

But Evans is special enough to handle that duty. It just hurt Memphis by not having more skilled ballhandlers against the Mizzou press.

Wow, I just got royally Memfisted, had them winning it all. I'm pretty sure I've never seen a more poor performance at the line from either team, ever, even at a girls grade school game. Kudos to both teams for chucking bricks and being spot on with the flat back part of rim that meets the glass. Awesome work! At least Dook got run out of the gym.
