Hmm..for some reason I don't remember a nation-wide hysteria over the disappearance of this girl. I wonder why?

Yes, but it may also have something to do with her being kidnapped by a family friend rather than a stranger.

I agree with Tibor (write this day down it may be historic).

The first I heard of this little girl was yesterday after they pretty much knew she was dead. Shame on the news orgs...

The sad fact is many kids go missing that we do not hear about.

We just had a similar case here in LA. A child was taken by a relative. I do not know what happened in that case but it did not make the national news.

My wife and her friends email each other when they get an Amber Alert. I am not sure if they heard about this case or not.

yes the news is long enough to report every single missing child....and then the rest of the news. that would make a whole crapload of sense.

They have enough time for rich white girls in Colorado and Utah, etc. Maybe it's a western bias?
