Delta does not do standby.

due to the blizzard in Denver, pretty much everything is scrambled. all the other airlines are picking up the United passengers that were routed through the Denver hub, so standby was pretty much out of the question anyway. however, i managed to get a ticket for the redeye tomorrow night at 11:40 for $300. that's MUCH better than the $630 they originally told me... i guess dealing with someone face to face rather than on a phone has its merits. :)
