Miss St. 7 Alabama 32 (Final)

Is Bama typically this workmanlike in their attitude? They play with a lot of fire and passion, but seem to skip a lot of the attention whoring you see from LSU, UF and others when they've done something well.

Maybe it's just the lack of a rival lining up against them, but I've been impressed with their demeanor out there. Anyone with any comments from other bama games, like LSU?

Well when your head coach is the most powerful head coach in the world (according to some magazine I saw today) that's probably bound to happen.

Why am I not really that impressed with Bama though? So Alabama will have to play Florida correct?

I agree Saban is the real deal (though that's been obvious since East Lansing). I mean his players seem to skip a lot of the chest thumping, gyrating, excited seizures and other tomfoolery that you see from many SEC defenders after a big hit or tackle for loss. Instead you see a lot of Rebels helped up by Tide defenders, and mutual head slaps or butt taps after a play.

I've watched them a few times this year and have noticed that as well. Night and day with them and Florida(example) who seem to want to celebrate after every single play.

EDIT: Out of all the teams in the SEC I think I have the most respect for Bama.
