Minnesota 17, Purdue 6 (final)

I remember watching a Purdue-ND game a few years ago where we drank a boilermaker shot every time PU scored. It got ugly.

I should have my head examined having this much money tied up in the fortunes of the Gophers between this and the 'how many games will they win?' vBet, but I'm sold on Weber, Decker, and Co.

200K on the Gophers.

uh oh!

Gophers are on a bit of a roll right now--and Purdue stinks at the moment. But Gophers havent won at PU since 1993 I believe. This one will be uncomfortably close...
Because of you support for the Buckeyes, I was able to find another 150.00 to put on the Gophers.

I have the absolute outcome of this game ... it is "WHO GIVES A S**T?"
The computer polls usually put an emphasis on the Top-25 or Top-30 or Top-50 or whatever it is teams that you beat.

At this point, for OSU, it would be advantageous for Penn St, Minnesota, Sparty, and the Mildcats to all finish with 10 wins so that OSU has a 4-1 or 5-1 record (if Troy can win out) versus Top 30 teams.

I know I do because Minnesota wins makes our power ratings go up. They lose and we lose. Good first post:(

A Purdue loss also affects our power rating. Keep in mind that each loss by any of our opponents this year negatively affects the rating.

Dryden is right, however, in that it would be better for us overall if Minny beats Purdue.

The Gophers will have a better record than Purdue if they keep on winning so their power numbers will be much better than Purdue's. That is why I think a Minnesota victory is better for us.

WTF?

Purdue is trying to run to the line and go no huddle, the official comes in and steps over the ball to prevent the snap while Minny sends new players on the field - meanwhile the play clock is running. The official then moves back, signals ready for play, the play clock expires and they penalize Purdue.

Tiller, of course, went nuts.
