The Huskers can win out to get to Indy, or they can clinch it Saturday if they beat Minny and Iowa nails TSUN.

For all the wailing and gnashing of teeth that happens with Nebraska, Bo and T-Mart, the Huskers have won no less than 9 games in the 5 years that Bo's been the HC.

Not too shabby. The guy that ran out on the field with him on Saturday did that for all except 1 year in almost 30.

I wonder how long Bo will last in Lincoln. Churning out 9-win seasons is impressive, no doubt. But he's never come across to me as the type of coach that could get your program over the hump and run the table in a given year.

Well, the mentality of folks around these parts is that Bo is that guy, but he'd do better if he showed more composure on the sidelines. I think it serves him well at times, but at other times, it's a hinderance.

Another thing that is a head scratcher is how the D has seemed to backslide after a few years. I personally think that is because of all the staff changes the team has had since Bo has been here. They lost probably the best secondary coach I've ever seen a couple years ago in Marvin Sanders, and of course, Carl Pelini left after last season to be the head coach at FIU.

That leaves John Papuchis as the D Coordinator. He's the youngest D coordinator in the country right now (I think he's 33 or 34).

I still think that the Offense needs to be retooled into one that's a more traditional offense, but I don't get paid the millions of bucks that Bo does.

Lastly - Doc Tom is gone now. Last game was yesterday. We've got a new AD now, and the last time that happened, it didn't work out so well for us.

255 Wins, 3 Natty Champs.

Thanks Doc Tom.

P.S. - Ped Staters should take note. This is how Joe Pa should have done it. Humility. Doc Tom didn't even want to do the Tunnel Walk yesterday, but Bo twisted his arm and begged him to do it.

Much Class, Bo. Much Class. Where'd he learn that at?

Oh yeah....that's right

No idea where else to put this...but Minnesota WR AJ Barker has left the team and has explained why. Either something is very wrong with the program or Barker is a little nuts:

My letter to Jerry Kill - why I quit

It’s over.

Thank you for that last bit of motivation I needed to put myself over the top. Thank you for showing me your true colors; that you will stop at nothing to prove you have control over me. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to play on your team. Thank you for “loving” me. Thank you for proving that with hard work and persistence people can go very far, even if they are less qualified/talented than their competition. Thank you for not giving me a scholarship. Thank you for providing me with an additional perspective of how to coach a college football team.

Now, in honor of my family and myself I’m done with you for good. In light of that pathetic, manipulative display of rage and love you put on this past Thursday, I have come to the decision, with the guidance of my parents and my closest friends, that my time on this team has come to an end. It kills me that I have to do this before the season’s over, but this is the only way I can protect myself against the manipulation and abuse I’d have to endure from you the rest of this season.
