I've lived in Mililani since I moved into my new house there in Dec '98 (6 1/2 years). The only thing approaching an incident on our cul-du-sac was a neighbor having his new truck broken into about three years ago (he had it parked outside his garage...everyone else on the street has the cars inside their garage at night). My oldest daughter lived with me for over two years and jogged 2-3 times a week at night and was never threatened. I will go anywhere in Mililani alone at anytime of day or night and not worry for a second about my safety. I'm not surprised that Mililani was recognized for being so safe. If there is the rare break-in somewhere, it's pretty big news.

(edit) I just checked their chart for Mililani and they list the median home price as $227,449...if they add about %200,000 then they'd be close.

Ole Mil's hanging 3/4 of a mil on a crib. Dude, I saw pics of your domicile a few yrs ago with the christmas lights. Nice crib, but 750k? Military retirement must have improved.
