On Saturday, running back Mike Weber collected an abundance of real estate against the Michigan State Spartans. On his first carry of the game, he went for a 47-yard touchdown, igniting the Ohio State Buckeyes’ permanent lead against Sparty. By the time all was said and done, Weber scored again—this time from 82 yards—and ended the afternoon with nine carries for 162 yards.

That performance was still in the minds of many on Monday, as it was announced that the Detroit native received Big Ten co-offensive player of the week honors.

It’s the fourth time this season that a Buckeye has earned a Big Ten offensive player of the week honor. The other three occurrences happened in Weeks 1, 7 and 9—with quarterback J.T. Barrett being the one to earn a share of the accolade.

The Buckeyes are back in action at home this Saturday against Illinois. It’ll be the last home game of the year for OSU, and will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET.
