MICHAEL VOGT, Head Athletic Trainer Michael Vogt is in his first season with the Columbus Blue Jackets after spending the last seven seasons as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Minnesota Wild. Prior to joining the Wild, Vogt served as the Head Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Coach for the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx from 1998-2001, the Head Athletic Trainer for the ABL's Columbus Quest (winning two titles in 1996 and 1997) and the Columbus Xoggz, a semi-pro men's soccer club.
A native of Canton, Ohio, Vogt earned a bachelor's degree in 1994 from The Ohio State University and is certified as a strength and conditioning specialist. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainer Association, the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainer Society and National Strength and Conditioning Association. He has a wife, Monica, and a son, Cole.
