Mike Vick (Pittsburgh Steelers)

I'm going to trademark my idea for a reality show/PPV event right now.

In a couple of years when the playing days are over and all the money has been pissed away; Pacman's Posse vs Vicks's Posse.

-Reality series leading up to the fight.

-PPV the actual event(MoC as special guest referee if OJ isn't available).

-Video Game with all the assorted graphic violence(bothe posse's loose in a city, guns, cars, drugs etc.)

-Merchandising(Jersys, sneakers, water bottles, bulletproof vests etc)

Guaranteed millions.

Well there has been a police statement released saying that Vick was not involved with the dog thing...

So everything has been dropped, now he just needs to stay away from situations like this...
he may not have been "involved" but it happened on a property he owned...

hes building a repuation of being around bad things but not being involved. not a good thing for the leagues highest paid player.

So what it happened on a property he owned. He was trying to help his family out and bought them a house that he never went to. (even though its still in his name, guessing for investment/tax purpose)

I love how everyone points out the flaws in vick, yet he has been trying to do good. He was at a charity event in Tampa then flew to Atlanta to catch a flight to DC but missed it (for what ever reason) yet no one talks about the charity work he was doing in Tampa.

How about the whole story lately has been about this house he owns, yet it barely gets mentioned that he donated 10k of his own money and raised 170k for the victims/family of Va Tech.

I love how everyone just busts his balls yet never gives him the recognition that he deserves. Yes he isnt a typical QB and never has been and probably never will. Has it hurt him so far, I say no. He went to Va Tech and played for a National Title, was Drafted #1 overall, made the playoffs 2 times (has been in the league 6 years but barely played in 01 and was injured in 03, started off 6-2 in 05 and 5-3 in 06) and went into GB and won and made it to the NFC Championship game.

It probably doesnt help that this is his 3rd (4 if you count wade phillips) system that he has had to learn since being drafted in 01.

I'm taking it upon myself and giving everybody my word that things are going to get changed around. Things are going to get turned around. I have a game plan for it. . . . The company I keep, a lot of things gotta change, and I mean that from the heart."

If he plans on following through with it like he said, I'm sure things will change around...

:tibor: He has brought the majority of the negativity on to himself. I don't feel bad for him or for the negative pub he gets.

ok, i get the flipping a fan off, bad pub - i wont argue. The water bottle thing was just stupidity on him for not throwing it away. The Miami policy said no drugs were found in the compartment so he should have just thrown it away.

tell me how this latest issue was brought on by himself? buying his cousin a house? He did nothing wrong other then try to help family out.

I think that had this been the first thing that come up under his name, it may have gotten about zero coverage, but since there is already a black cloud over his name, this makes many of us think, "how could he have actually known nothing about what was going on." I'm sure mutual acquaintances, family, etc had to have said something to Mike. He may have even told his cousin to clean the shit up and knock it off, and he just didn't, but this is just another addition to his resume.

I think your lecture should be saved for the drug dealing, "accused" rapist your Browns drafted Saturday. :slappy:

:tibor: Like I said, everyone makes mistakes, but it's those who don't learn from them and keep repeating them that are the true problem. This is at least the 4th negative thing associated with him since be has been in the NFL. Come talk to me when a Browns player has reached that elite status.
