Michigan women win second straight Big Ten Swimming & Diving Championship

Michigan claimed the 2017 Big Ten Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship, its second consecutive conference crown and 16th in program history, on Saturday at the Boilermaker Aquatic Center on the campus of Purdue University. Michigan collected 14 top-three finishes and compiled 1,287 total points throughout the four-day event. Indiana finished second after collecting 1,125 points and Wisconsin was third with 1,101.5 points. Minnesota finished fourth with 1,086 points, while Ohio State recorded 837 points to finish fifth. The Wolverines took home titles and set Big Ten Championship records in the 200-yard freestyle (Siobhan Haughey; 1:42.49), 500-yard freestyle (G Ryan; 4:34.40),
