John L's got the Hoosiers right where he wants them. He knows that his Sparty squad had a much better chance when they're 17 behind at the half instead of 17 ahead.

Sparty fumbled with 20 seconds to go in the half, while just running into the line to kill the clock. They handed off to Caulcrick instead of taking a knee, and he got hit and lost the ball.
The announceres are killing John L. for running the play, but I'm pretty surethe clock was stopped at 26 before the snap.

The result of this game was as easy to predict as Sparty's loss to Illinois after blowing it to ND..... great comeback... big high for the program.... failure against next opponent no matter who it was. Sparty would lose to Temple if they played them this week.
