Michigan RB Michael "Shart" Shaw (carrying on the proud tradition of #20)

The player wearing #20 for scUM is a device used to introduce a stream of water into the body for medical or hygienic reasons, or the stream of water itself.

Douche usually refers to vaginal irrigation, the rinsing of the vagina.

Michigan can have him. He's from Ohio, so best of luck to him. Unfortunately, I hate michigan. I hate everything about michigan. I reserve a little spot in the darkest part of my heart for all things Michigan! Especially Michigan running backs. Especially UM players from Ohio. Just like Pierre Woods, Shawn Crable, Charles Woodson, Desmond Howard, etc. - he now has the stink of Michigan on him forever, no matter how much Ohio deoderant he applies. LOL. Seriously though, best of luck to him and I only wish him nothing but the same 4-year record against OSU that the last UM rb named mike had against us.

This post is gold after yesterday and it was made a long, long time ago.

The LA Times had something to say about Shaw:

Apparently, the tunnels at the "Big House" aren't big enough for "The Game."

Before Ohio State's 21-10 win over Michigan, Buckeyes receiver Grant Schwartz and Wolverines running back Michael Shaw bumped shoulders in the tunnel leading to the field.

Each one had a few choice words for the other about the other's apparent mismanagement of space.

Schwartz, a Dana Hills High graduate, turned around and quickly muttered a few words before making his way back to the locker room. Shaw, who was walking through the tunnel with a certain arrogant swagger that comes when your team is tied for last place in the Big Ten, also did some trash talking as he continued toward the field.

This completely defines the essence of Michigan football, a program that has been largely irrelevant on the national stage for over 60 years - their one half-title in 1997 puts them right up there with other powerhouse programs like UCLA (1954 split), Auburn (1957 split), Georgia Tech (1990 split title), Colorado (1990 split title), and Washington (1991 split title), and almost in the same league as Maryland (1953 title), Syracuse (1959 title), Minnesota (1960 title), Pittsburgh (1976 title), Georgia (1980 title), Clemson (1981 title), and Brigham Young (1984 title). Now that's some elite company right there....

But if you read the Michigan boards today, you'd think that the won The Game 45-14, or something. scUM fans' arrogance is now so acute that it has become full-blown psychotic delusion ... the little pink flying elephants and conversations with demon-possessed dogs are definitely the next stop for that bunch of looney tunes.

I guess that if you keep telling yourself that you're great because of what others accomplished 100 years ago, then self-delusion is inevitable. I'm sure that we Ohio State fans have another 364 days of hearing about how Michigan still leads the all-time series ... that Michigan is the winningest program of all-time ... that Michigan has more total national championships ... blah blah blah. But keep it up, scUM fans - it will just make next year's beat down even more enjoyable for us (that'll be seven in a row and nine out of ten, for those of you who are stuck in the era before the forward pass).

Back to Shaw for a minute ... the kid is a punk, pure and simple. And he really backed up his swagger on the field, now didn't he? Eight touches for one yard. We need an emoticon for this guy ... maybe Deety can come up with something for him.

Credit to goosemeister on the Scout boards for this gem concerning the recent #20's for scUM: "shaw + hart = shart"
