I just hope that Michigan continues to recruit slow QBs, and not fast-enough LBs and DBs. No doubt a pocket passer can be effective, I just am relishing in the luxury of OSU's speed vs. UM's strength.
the problem people always overlook when they talk about their "dual threat" qb's is if they can't run or escape the pocket effectively when they choose to. their passing normally suffers dramatically.

gotta agree on the scum qb situation. scum has year in and year out done better with the qb situation. we've got to do a better job with our qbs.

To be honest, I never heard of the kid. But I do know Statesboro is a very good program. Michigan does know what they are doing when it comes to getting QBs so maybe this kid is a hidden gem. But being an OSU fan, I'm more than happy to have Henton. I've heard nothing but good things about him.

Since Tomczak, the only Buck I'd take would be Germaine. That's saying something.

I'm also wondering what this means about Hartline. Similar build to Cone, but much more athletic. I would have figured he'd play for um if they offered, but they obviously won't anytime soon. Yet they offered this lowly regarded guy from GA? Odd...

It makes me smile when Michigan recruits all these offensive players when they need defensive studs. I hope they recruit 3 QB's this year. They need DE's, LB'ers, and DB's and they are doing ok but haven't filled their needs. I hope they strike out on most or all of the bigtime DB's.

That is just it...while Michigan continues to put QB's and OL in the Pros they have failed to develp DT and LB on a consistant basis...especially DT. gabe Watson is a 1st team All Big Ten player but you have to go back a bit to find a DT that was such a force.

Michigan does get some talented D recruits esp. DB's, I just think they don't a very good job developing them. Mich Lb's especially have been mediocre for some time now.
