This is my first post on this board. I am a huge Buckeye fan, but unfortunately live in VA-- so I don't get as many excited Buckeyes at my office or neighborhood.
However, I have scrounged up some Buckeyes and we're getting together this Saturday to watch the big game.
I have ordered TONS of decorations online and had my Mom ship in a package from a shopping spree in Columbus (I have Buckeye plates, streamers, jokes to hang up, books, a candle, balloons).
However, I am looking for more ideas to add to my menu. What do you suggest I serve? I am already making Buckeyes, of course. And, I have some red and gray colored popcorn. I was thinking about red and gray M & Ms.
Does anyone have any other Buckeye dishes or even good footbally party dishes? What about good spiked or non drinks?
Or, anyone care to share any other OSU-Michigan party tradtions, decor, ANYTHING?!?!
1. Buy an entire pork tenderloin from a grocery store (Costco?)
2. Cover it with salt and pepper, then paste it with dijon mustard
3. Cook it on the grill over high heat for 45 minutes
4. Every 15 minutes coat with a touch of olive oil
5. Remove from grill, slice into inch slices and label "ROASTED WOLVERINE"
i have always had fun by placing a pillow filled scummer in a corner.....a bunch of pillows dressed in shit yellow and blue.....and then let people kick the shit out of it as the game goes on.....
Silver Bullets for the Silver Bullets. Provide Coors Light cans as your only beverage option. Quickly stomp out any objections with pointed accusations of homosexual tendancies and cocked fists.
This year has the chance to be one of the loudest ever.
We are not facing a Tom Brady or Chris Perry who has proven himself in this rivalry. We are facing two good players that have never felt the Shoe shake. The fans will be the most important part of the first half.
In all my years of this game, I would considerate it one on the most important games of the Rivalry. It would be great for Ohio State to
ruin this game for Michigan like they have done to us in the 90'S and especially with all that has been going on the past couple of weeks.
It would be fitting and proper if we could blow them right out of the "Shoe" and I think all of you back in C-Bus will weigh heavily in the outcome of this game. We are "Buckeye Nation" and lets just keep this in the right perspective and Kick Thier Ass. "Go Bucks"
