"I'd like to know wtf Snook is trying to accomplish by writing that story? Other than furthering his "career"...."
What about it disturbs you?
Or keep it in the news cycle at all?I want to know what the point of the story is? To make OSU's handling of this situation look even more dysfunctional?
With all due respect....
Who cares about all of this now? Urbs had his presser on Monday. Other than the talking s**t heads at EsPIN (and apparently Snook and maybe some local media), nobody else is talking about this. Coach served his suspension. Agree, disagree, you can't get the time back. Poking the bear in this instance is just going to make things worse and will just serve to piss people off.
Courtney and Zach Smith's relationship is jacked up. We got it. Urbs screwed up having Smith on his staff. Known that for months now. At this point, unless he:
....people are moving on.
- Comes up with a picture of Urbs, Gene Smith, Zach Smith, and Tom Herman in a strip club somewhere with audio and assorted toys...
- Comes up with a picture of Zach Smith poisoning the water supply of Flint Michigan...
- Shows Courtney Smith dressed up like Heidi Fleiss collecting tricks from "working girls" nobody knew about...
Now, can we please get to some more interesting news? Like, whether or not Jimbo will finally eat some chicken? Or how many points will you guys plunger the next team by? How about how bad the Pac12 is right now? Or, who will get their first win - Purdon't, Huskers, UCLA, or Iowa State?
Hell, even McMuffin done seemed to have moved on (to a point). The well is dry at this point. Go find water elsewhere, man...
Snook needs to go crack open a cold one, prop up his feet, and enjoy the season at this point.
Cletus is really upset that you left him out. With all due respect....

I think you should be a little more focused on Frost getting his first win for Corn this weekend.
I think maybe to clarify that (a) there were no signs of any behavior in support of abuse by Meyer and (b) that the suspension was for mismanagement of Smith. The media is still trying to portray Meyer inaccurately and perhaps he feels that he needs to answer it or the "majority" of the Trustees are leaking this with that goal in mind.
Yes. And considering you've got non-ESPiN sites still blaring headlines like "Urban Meyer Shows He Hasn't Learned Enough" and "Urban Meyer Digs The Hole A Little Deeper Every Time He Talks", I welcome the push-back from our local sports-justice warrior, however amateurish his efforts may indeed be.I think maybe to clarify that (a) there were no signs of any behavior in support of abuse by Meyer and (b) that the suspension was for mismanagement of Smith.
