Couple of tidbits:
  • Home team has won 8 of the last 10 matchups between Purdue and MSU straight up.
  • Last 2 times PU has been the home team they were favored by -1.5. They won each game by 6 pts and 24 respectively.

All that said, I'll take MSU plus points against anyone in any gym in the B10.

Hummel played quite a bit this past weekend and from all indications his back is quite a bit better so I think you will see him get extended minutes against MSU but I still did not think Purdue wins.

Purdue just plays suffocating defense. It just takes me wonder how good is MSU and is Purdue really that good. Purdue doesn't play that well away from home while usually Sparty does not embarrass themselves away from East Lansing.

Big win for the Boilers. Never would have predicted a blowout like this. Still going to need some help from MSU and Illinois if we are to get at least a share of the title. Hope you guys can take out Illinois! Purdue is actually pretty good away from home, our record this year is 4-3 so far. We're just not so good at Value City arena this decade.
