The Vulvarines never lose home openers.

Um, scratch that.

The Vulvarines never open with two straight home losses.

Um, scratch that.

The last time the a Vulvarine team without Mike Hart started the season with 2 straight home losses was 1959.

Can I put that in my sig? :wink2:

I dunno about the point spread, because it would require us to score at least two touchdowns - iffy. And my one-vbet-a-week is going to Texas Tech on the absurdly generous spread they're given against Nevada. But I really don't see how anyone could pick Miami to win outright after they get crushed by Vanderbilt.

1951 - finished 4-5
1937 - finished 4-4 (started 0-3)
1936 - finished 1-7 (started 0-3)
1934 - finished 1-7

Read your own board, hypocrite. What I post here is mild compared to what comes out of dozens of your posters. Sadly, probably a third of the big brother hating jackoffs on that board would prefer to see Beanie Wells knee torn up rather than Ohio State win another national championship and/or Heisman. Better yet, stay on your own board, Fredo.

Unfortunately you are right... I can remember all the haters down there when I went and OSU won the nat'l champ my sophomore year. My roommate (Mentor) and I (Youngstown area), were going apeshit when they beat Michigan securing a place. We were the only ones that watched on the projection screen in our dorm who were doing so. I almost beat about 15 honors dorm kids that day (I got into the building before I got the boot from the program)... Anyways, the problem with Miami and its hatred is threefold 1. A lot of Criminnati Parochial School Kids (read domers), A lot of kids from Toledo (TSUN), and a lot of Chicago and Indiana Kids. Not exactly a hotbed of OSU support. I mean don't get me wrong, there was a large group of us that hit B-dubs everyweekend to watch the game and drink until we couldn't feel feelings, but there was a good third of the bar rooting against the team that I called my own growing up. Unfortunately that smaller portion was always the loudest (and dumbest too, I used to run circles round their football knowledge, I had a kid tell me it can't be that hard to coach... (See Dave Wandstache))

All that being said, about the game. I just can't see this one being close, especially if Daniel Raudabaugh stays in, I mean you got two three star recruits with decent arms a red-shirt (Belton) and a true (Dysert), but Montgomery won't play 'em, I hope I'm wrong but I'm saying UM 42-MU17

You'll have to excuse Fredo for following me over here. Undoubtedly, he's still bitter over the fun I had with that board after our 2005 game with them.

After reading the hatred that gets spouted towards Ohio State and how even the most civil Ohio State posters were treated, I created a false alias of a Fredo of Ohio alum who was just soooooo worried and concerned about dear Mother Miami falling farther and farther behind Ohio State.

I jerked them around like puppets on a string for a year before the bright ones over there finally figured out what was going on.

Miami offense vs Vandy's Defense:
340 net yds
96 rushing
244 passing
13 points
3 INT's

South Carolina offense vs Vandy's defense:
325 net yards
92 rushing
233 passing
17 points
4 int

On offense Vandy racked up 140 more total yards vs Miami than vs USC.

Vandy scored 10 points on Miami from a point blank INT on the 1 and a punt return. Dismiss the possibility if you want to but I don't see all that glaring a difference between the two games Vandy has played if you look beyond the just the final scores.

If RR's two headed monstrosity plays like they did against Utah, they can lose to anyone.

Whoa, guess I was really underestimating Vandy this year. I'm not going to lie I'm skeptical of Rudabaugh, but I've also heard on the Miami board that Belton seems very content thinking he's great and has a little too much attitude which is why he isn't playing, hope that's not true, but anyways yeah. With a healthy dose of Merriweather, who had a 5.9 rushing avg. against Vandy I'm now thinking they got a shot. Or at least am delusionally hopeful.
