Miami (FL) Hurricanes (1926-2003)

It SHOULD

but I’m willing to wager it won’t especially with all the 2 loss B1G and SEC teams, with some big games yet to be played
I think 1 loss ND being out right in the cutoff line tells us what the CFP thinks of their schedule.

They lose this one and they are proper fucked.

I hope you’re right. I just believe that as other teams in the playoff hunt lose games (which will happen as many are facing off over the next few weeks) they’ll find a way to sneak them in with 2 losses

Exactly.
I'm old enough to remember when ND lost two big games to start the season, then beat a bunch of also-rans to close the season on like a 9 game win streak and then they watched from home (and refused a bowl game BTW). That was 8 months ago.

Your lips to Woody's ears.

Full disclosure: I wouldn't be too heartbroken to see Miami lose.

Meteor game as far as I'm concerned

100% meteor but I look at it like this: Miami is in no matter what at this point

So there is real upside in their beating ND and no real downside (that wasn't going to happen anyway)

Yeah, I’d like to see Mensah be about 3-for-21 with 2 pick-6s.

And Carr have the same stat line, with the final score 14-13 due to a missed XP.

I would like to see a 9-7, 12-7, 12-10, 15-14, etc type of game where one team never scores a touchdown, while the other team scores at least one, but the team that never scores a touchdown ends up winning with field goals anyway.
