Can I propose for a mod to add to the title of this thread after the (1926-2003) to say “Take a Knee in Memory” ?

Speechless. I'm a Husker fan, and have been through what could be best described as some very poor, poor years. But at least in MOST of these instances, we weren't up with less than 1:00 with the chance to take a knee.
Now, had they taken the knee, fumbled, THEN lost the game? That would be "Nebraska-ing" it away.

They probably realized that they totally blew their shot with Jeremiah Smith last night, so they probably just took whatever nil money they were going to offer him and just offered it all to that kid who committed.
