And the ever-popular transitive property rears its ugly head, once again. Except in this case, he's basing his argument on teams that still lost

I guess u believe what u want to. UNC isnt a different team with with 6 starters missing? 1 who is considered the best DT in the nation. Yes, VT is totally irrelevant because they lost to the # 3 team in the country by 3 points in the last couple minutes of the game. The argument was that UM still has a tough schedule besides those 3 games that he mentioned. Who is the 4th toughest opponent Penn State faces? How does that compare to VT?

I don't know their schedule off the top of my head but it is likely either Iowa or Wisconsin (or both), either one is a much tougher out than VT.

I just looked at it. Iowa was alreay talked about. They dont play Wisconsin. There next toughest game after those 3 is sorry Michigan at Penn St. VT is obviously head and shoulders above Michigan.

Miami

@ Ohio St.
@ Pitt
@ Clemson
Fla St.
UNC
@Georgia Tech
Virginia Tech

Thats Miamis toughest games. And that why espn said Miami might have the toughest scheduale.

Northwestern and MSU are both better than M*ch*gan but that's beside the point.

@ Alabama, @ OSU and @ Iowa is significantly tougher than Miami's schedule.

U can tell after 1 week? They were what, 15th in the country before last weeks upset?. A lot of people think they have the best DE duo in the country, along with arguably the best WR in the country. They got a number of guys that are going to go high in the draft. After those 3 games he mentioned for PSU, who is tougher then playing at Pitt?

Il definitely give them credit for those 3 games. @ Alabama alone is huge. But to say either scheduale is "significantly tougher" is absolutely rediculous. PSU scheduale is top heavy. Miami has to play a bunch a top rated teams week in and week out. Being in huge games week in and week out is much more grueling.

Miami also has to play Virginia Tech who almost beat the number 3 team in the country. And North Carolina, who would have crushed LSU if they werent missing all those players which they will have back by the time they play Miami. Also at Clemson and at Pitt. is no joke.

Bolded all the things that make me think this is a joke. Almost, would have, shoulda, coulda, woulda..... and Pitt?? I'm not knocking it. Just all of it sounds iffy to me.

I don't care who's "tougher" than @ pitt.

It's hilarious you'd use the fighting wanstaches for SOS comparison.

Did you watch that choke job in overtime? That's how I know. Maybe @ Utah should be worked into your SOS argument, I mean they are the last team to beat Bama.

I think Utah still has the majority of their players from that '08 team due to a jacked up WAC/MWC rule against ACC/Big East teams. So I could definitely see a strength of schedule boost.

U can refuse to pay attention to detail if u want. Your ignorance doesnt change the facts. U dont agree that taking away 6 starters on D from a team is detrimental? So if you were to lose against Wisconsin by 6 points because your TE droped 2 TD passes at the very end of the game(And on the 2nd one was a pass interference that wasnt called). And u were without 6 starters on defense, and your starting RB. Lets say u played them in a bowl game with all those players back. What would u say going into that game.

Thats just the starters. Not to mention all the special team contributors. BTW, make sure you take out Hayward in the above scenerio. As UNC was without the best DT in the nation. Even your boy Kirby was talking about what a monster UNC is going to be when they get those players back.

And for Christ sake, Boise is top 15 but not top3. I don't give two [censored]s what they say. They don't have the depth to stand up in the long run. 3 games and the WAC is not a challenge.

What about using all the tricks for 1 game of the year? And in week 1. Well thats what they did against VT.
