EDIT: Well, looks like Zaner42 answered THAT question...

Depending on how the knee dislocated, it can easily cut off the circulation to the lower part of the leg and it certainly could sever the arteries and veins going to and from the lower extremity.....

Looks like the refs are trying to keep this game interesting. They don't call an obvious PI on Pitt, then on this drive I've seen at least 3 holds at the point of attack that go uncalled!

Unless it is OK for a lineman to tackle a defender?
