Marcus Vick has allegations he had sex with a 15 year old

Ell Roberson from Kansas State rapes a girl and ESPN says they hope that he can put it behind him and focus on the game

Lou Holtz has South Carolina on a 3 year probation and now he's an analyst for ESPN

Troy Smith takes under $1,000 from a booster and all of a sudden he might as well be wearing the number 666 on his back.

Maurice Clarett starts making allegations that the NCAA dismisses! And now Jim Tressels name has been run through the mud.

So here we have a story where a pro ESPN guy gets a school on probation and it's little more than a scroll on the bottom of the screen, and an anti-ESPN guy get's completely cleared by the NCAA, who even said they'd like more schools to act like tOSU, and now his entire program is seen as a breeding ground for all sorts of bad characters.

Something doesn't make sense here.</td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody> </table>

Buy that man a keg.

That is what we have been trying to say for like a year now.

Check that, two years. I don't think as a hole that ESPiN has said "Let's fuck with tOSU", but they tend to ignore shit that goes on at lesser programs. They know that they will get the ratings and response they are looking for from the tOSU fanbase.

May I respectfully disagree. It has been said repeatedly that what is said on air is planned and managed. There were a number of attacks on tOSU, which primarily repeated spurious allegations that already had been investigated and proven false by the NCAA. ESPiN used its various wings (i.e., the mag, Sportscenter) to make it appear that its own internal sources were independent sources that validated their story. They quit when the NCAA said there was nothing to the original allegations, Big 10 and NCAA sources not only told them to lay off but said the tOSU was a role model for compliance, Clarett showed his true colors in the pros, and it became apparent to them in their market research that tOSU fans were turning them off big time.

I am not fooled by all the love that they are showering on tOSU now because of the strength of our football and basketball programs and their desire to not be ripped from pillar to post in GameDay at the Shoe.

It WAS a disgusting and premeditated attack on the University and I still expect more than the mealy-mouthed mumbled "kinda-sorta I don't agree with Trev and Mark" crap that I have heard so far. They really hurt people badly that we all care about, destroyed Andy Geiger's life and did it all to line their pockets with money, in my opinion.

I figure everyone involved in the crap over the last two years, and everyone still warped about "the Call" all had money riding on the Fiesta Bowl and lost all of it. And this their way of getting back at us.

Imagine being able to prove that Tom Friend and crew lost mega coin on the NC game....

I'm going to interject with something completely off topic before this becomes BP's 372nd anti/pro, conspiracy/no-conspiracy ESPN thread ...

I visited HawkTalk from that link, and I have to say someone did a very good job on an OSU fark. I don't care who you are a fan of, but this is a good fark for "How many [insert team] players does it take to change a lightbulb."

Steve is polite. I'm not.

Fuck ESPN and all their attention whores they employ. They need to remember they're supposed to give us stat's and scores, not soap opera drama that they invent. Let me repeat: Fuck ESPN.
Sorry, what was that again?
