Lllloyd's Post Game Presser - One Liner

Says it all this does.

A lot of blather and prattling from the old woman of the north .. then this pearl of total ignorance ...

On the Troy Smith Long completion to Tony Gonzales on the last drive:
"Well, we had him. There were two plays that Smith made. We had them 3rd and 10 and he scrambled to his left to our sideline. We had position to make a tackle. We would have had him fourth and probably four to five yards. But he made a great move there to evade a tackle. It looked to me like we had him for a sack on the play where he scrambled out of there.

I don't know exactly what happened.

But that was without question the biggest play of that drive…maybe the biggest play of the game."
I believe this is now the third time I have heard Lllloyd say this after a Michigan loss this year. "I don't know exactly what happened."

The field judge was right on that play. Amazingly, Lllloyd watched the replay on the big screen and he did not throw his usual tantrum because he knew the call was corrrect.

Lllloyd just stated on the michigan replay show that the call was wrong and the play should have come back. He said Gonzo was not forced out. Glad to know the refs cost them the game.

No wonder they all whine since that is the only noise you hear from the top.

You know, I am almost embarassed for that man. Being gracious in defeat is one way that I use to measure the mettle of a person, or in this case, the measure of a man. By all accounts, for some time now, despite having plenty of experience with it, Lllloyd simply doesn't understand how to lose with dignity. As long as he continues to offer up crap like this, his teams will always underachieve. Teams take their cues from the head coach, and in the 4th quarter yesterday, when the going got tough the Bucks got going while at the same time, the scUMmers started looking for excuses.

After 13 YEARS! of watching Michigan dominate this great rivalry and have them say that during that time, Michigan State was there biggest rival, well I don't feel sorry for those fans.

Maybe now, they will start to realize what game means the most on the schedule every year.

We should probably take it easy on our friends from up north as I'm sure it's difficult for them to come to terms with the fact that Northwestern is now our biggest rival.

According to Terry Hoepner he would like to think it should be OSU and Indiana as the rivalry.

Say what you will about Coop but he took blame for those losses unlike Mr. Crybaby Carr...what a loser!!!
