Megadeth at the Newport? Wow. That would be sweet. I think the Newport is a cool place to see a show- I've seen some pretty good ones there:
King's X
King Diamond
Ramones
Eric Johnson
Living Colour
Iggy Pop

Thanks to LadyB she got us a really good spot instead of the insanity on the floor. I'm old school metal head and thats not a pit :shake:that was drunk fuckin idiots that probably couldn't name the first album Megadeth did

A chick threw a Got Deth tee shirt upon stage, Awesome and Dave Mustaine got it and showed the crowd, which went nuts.

The concert was fucking awesome!!
I got my cast signed by members of all 3 bands!! :biggrin:
The lead singer of the confession was so nice!! He took the time to talk to me and ask me how I broke my wrist! He signed "Get Better" and his name.
Maria Brink, the lead singer of In This Moment, and Chris the bass guitar man also signed my cast. They are a kick ass band! Then, we went behind the newport and stood with about 25 other freaks. Finally, Glen Drover, the lead guitarist of MegaDeth came out and signed my cast. Thanks to Gregory Lee for waiting so long so I could do that!!
CCI and I are planning to go to Huntington, WV on OCT 8th to see only The Confession and In This Moment. Gregory Lee and Scooter are more than welcome to come with us. It is a very small venue, so we should get to meet and talk to the bands again. Anyone that wants to go is welcome, but I know GL and Scooter would definately be interested!! :wink:
