Actually the day after I read this thread, I had an opportunity to engage a lady at the gym... and did encourage her to get checked...

She approached me because our gym requires medical clearances and she knew we joined at the same time... years ago... she asked me what I did.. and I told her I get annual physicals... she hasn't checked ANYTHING in years...

Friends of mine just participated in a Breast Cancer event too.. so coupled with this thread, it was top of mind...

I took the opportunity to tell her she really needed to do this... wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I thought... I really don't know this woman... but hot.. and I refrained from offering to do the check myself... mentally I did one.. and she was fine...

May get me in a bit of trouble, beings I work for the state, but a mass email to all of Taxation about Breast Cancer Awareness was sent out this morning.


this should be either fun or me getting a head start on the Obama Admnistration by heading to the unemployment line early.
